NOLL RESTRUCTURES ADVANCEMENT, BUSINESS ROLES

As part of Bishop Noll Institute’s commitment to continuous improvement, three appointments have been made to fortify the school’s already solid financial standing, President Paul Mullaney announced.
Renee Nagdeman, longtime Bishop Noll business manager, assumes the title of Vice President of Finance; BNI alumnus Eddie Limón has been appointed Vice President of Advancement; and Communications Coordinator Jennifer Florek has been promoted to Associate Director of Advancement.
“We are structuring a team on the business side of our operations that will enable us to position Bishop Noll for long-term stability,” Mullaney said. “We aim to grow resources in support of Noll’s academic initiatives and curricular activities, which continue to increase in concert with our growing enrollment.”
Nagdeman, who holds an accounting degree from Purdue University, has served as Bishop Noll’s business manager for 21 school years. In addition to overseeing all of BNI’s business operations – including budgeting, payroll, personnel and compliance – she also has served regularly on committees for the Diocese of Gary dealing with scholarships, financial aid and payroll platforms. Nagdeman and her husband, Craig, are parishioners at St. Patrick Church in Chesterton. They have two children.
Limón, a standout football and baseball player at Noll before graduating in 1985, holds a degree in chemistry from Beloit College and an executive MBA from the University of Houston. He enjoyed a successful career in the chemicals industry, working nationally and internationally, and holding several executive roles for Fortune 100 and 500 companies. He opened his own firm, Houston-based VRC Technologies, to supply the oil, gas and agricultural markets. He served as VRC’s chief operating officer until recently retiring to return to his roots. He also served as chairman of Bishop Noll’s Board of Specified Jurisdiction, playing a lead role in developing the school’s strategic plan for Advancement, before stepping down in April. He has relocated to Lakes of the Four Seasons with his wife, Lisa. Limón has two sons.
Florek, an accomplished journalist and Purdue graduate, has served on Noll’s Advancement team for more than nine years as communications coordinator. In that role, she has participated in nearly all departmental functions, playing lead roles in writing and producing the seasonal Noll Today magazine, materials for the Annual Warrior Fund, news releases and social media posts. She also was the lead editor of the “Forever Noll” centennial history coffee table book, released after BNI’s centennial celebration in 2021. Before coming to Noll, she served as community news coordinator for more than five years at The Times of Northwest Indiana.    Florek has two children who attend St. Thomas More School in Munster.
In their respective Advancement roles, Limón will serve as a lead major gifts officer, including building endowment and legacy giving, while leading the department’s strategic vision; and Florek will serve as a lead officer for annual giving while directing school messaging efforts.
“We are thrilled to have these three talented and experienced professionals in pivotal leadership roles on our team at Bishop Noll as we strive to further strengthen our financial standing in support of academic excellence, and to support long-term growth,” Mullaney said.
With its June 5 commencement exercises, Bishop Noll has completed 104 years of educating the Region’s young men and women in mind, body and soul. Its 2024-25 enrollment of 683 was a 24-year high, with an expectation of more than 700 students in 2025-26.
In May, The Times and nwi.com recognized Bishop Noll as the Region’s best private high school for the third straight year.
