Greetings future parents and students of Bishop Noll

The Bishop Noll Admissions Office has embarked on its recruiting efforts for the class of 2011. Director of Admissions Mike Juscik '89 and his team of Noll student ambassadors are slated to visit schools across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland in an effort to communicate the Bishop Noll experience to prospective students. Just what is the Bishop Noll experience? As an alum, I want to share with you how Noll prepared me for life after high school.

From my first day as a freshman I felt part of something different, more than a high school—I was part of a family of a diverse student population and dedicated teachers who went out of their way to help students before, during and after school. I learned so much from the dedicated teaching staff who all made tremendous sacrifices to teach at Bishop Noll. The Noll teacher is a an individual who takes pride in teaching and pride in their students challenging themselves academically on a daily basis to raise the bar of instruction in the classroom and who set high expectations of their students. Many of my former teachers continue to teach at Noll and have the same passion for teaching and challenging the Noll student today to prepare them for life after high school. This year, our new faculty has made a tremendous impact on our Prep Academy and the High School, from first year teachers to veteran educators, the Noll teacher continues to prepare young men and women for an array of universities around the country and world.

At Noll I formed many friendships that I have retained since graduation—there is a camaraderie among us and among all Noll alumni. Many of my classmates went on to continue their education at premier colleges & universities around the country. They excelled in their studies and have become successful in their careers. In my role as Development Assistant at Noll, I come into contact with many Noll alums and have the chance to share stories of our Noll experiences and have learned of their successes. Noll alumni are around the country and world serving in various capacities from educators and judges to business leaders, healthcare professionals and the list goes on. Many of our current students' parents are Noll alums and hold a special connection to their Alma Mater and have sacrificed to send their children to the premier secondary education school in the area.

Why should you choose Noll? Our second year achieving the exemplary rating from the Indiana Department of Education, our 100% graduation rate, 98% college-bound rate, a challenging curriculum, spiritual development, a vast array of extracurricular activities, an outstanding athletic program, dedicated faculty, staff and administrators that care for you from day one and assist you in making the right choices during high school and guide you in providing advice for life after Noll. I chose Noll for the sense of belonging to something more than a high school and have never regretted my choice. I have a strong belief in Noll. Noll prepared me for continuing my education and helped me grow as an individual. As I returned to my Alma Mater, I came to do my part in giving back to a school that has given me so much in life.

There is something about Noll that draws people back—we have a vast number of alumni that have returned home to Noll to give back and do their part in providing the Noll experience to our students.

The Bishop Noll experience continues to shape thousands of individuals—I hope you make Noll your choice for high school education.
